Today is July 4th, when America celebrates and remembers its new found freedom, won by blood and unimaginable sacrifice, from the British empire in 1776.
And while we've had much to celebrate over the past two centuries, I'll be sitting this one out, in my own silent protest of a Holiday that no longer applies to you or I.
I cannot get past the irony that more American's than ever will celebrate their “freedom”, by eating hot dogs and Apple pie – which were purchased with government food-stamps issued by JP Morgan.
But what really has me thinking about my family's future, is an email I received two days ago from my financial advisor Paul…
“Mike, I have Mark Seale, a local Austin Lobbyist joining me on the show this week. He has great up-to-date insider track on what is happening on the hill. Did you know that they are trying to bury a new law within the housing bill requiring all US citizens to get a license to purchase any quantity of Gold and Silver?”
I've often wondered what my breaking point would be… When enough is enough, and I opt-out of a fraudulent system who's foundation has become dependent upon lies, tyranny, and the financial enslavement of its citizens.
Well this is it.
If this is real and it passes, it's my breaking point. My family and I will be leaving this country.
Living in a land where you must have a license to buy, sell, or own gold and silver is the equivalent of living in a virtual prison, with walls made not of concrete, but of its national borders – where those who choose to own real money, will be tracked, monitored, and kept under control by the boots of those in power, who see us as an enemy because we refuse to participate in a fraudulent system owned and controlled by someone else.
Should this pass, they will have solidified their dominance and control over the one great equalizer that has always trumped financial corruption, and returned power to the people.
And if they succeed in their quest for a global currency, then God help us. We will spend every waking moment of our lives inside a modern day prison planet, under the rule of men and woman whom we will not recognize, whom we did not elect, and therefore, have no way to hold accountable.
We will not work for real money. We will work to pay off debt which they created, with worthless pieces of paper they printed and own, simply because they said that we must.
By placing the Federal Reserve system outside the political system where you and I have a say, we have lost control of those who create our currency. They are for all practical notions, above the law. They have won the battle.
The moment you and I have to wear the reporting equivalent of an electronic dog collar around our necks in order to own gold or silver, is the moment they've won the war.
Today, we still have a choice…
Today, you and I have the freedom to turn our worthless pieces of dirty paper into real money that has held its value for millennia. We participate in today's fiat Dollar system by choice and convenience. Not by compulsion, and not without the ability to return to free, real money on an individual basis should that currency be abused.
So what should we do?
Well here is Thomas Jefferson's advice, based upon previous personal experience…
“Whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established, should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” – The Declaration of Independence.
The war has not been won yet. We still have a chance to live as free men, but we must wake up our friends, wake up our families, and together say… Enough is enough.
